Students in the Falcons Homeschool Community make most of their own learning tools because they learn from the making, and because each time they use a  tool they made they get a built-in review. Along with our daily tools like rulers and protractors, this year the Sedgwick class made meteorological tools for our study of weather, while the online class learned grammar by inventing a language, and then wrote bilingual picture books. Falcons students also do math with a cast of toy characters representing the concepts, some of whom are on display as well.
