Dibble: For this painting I rode my bicycle in the Monument six miles over unpaved roads, on an excursion organized by Marsha Donahue of North Light Gallery in Millinocket; the huge boulders had been delivered by the glacier, and the East Branch of the Penobscot River continuously winds its way among them.
