E-books: OverDrive/Libby

The library’s OverDrive collection, also available through the newer Libby app, offers BHPL patrons a growing collection of e-books that are compatible with Kindle Paperwhites and other devices. The collection has over three hundred titles, with more being added on a regular basis. Access the collection with your BHPL card number and password.


E-audiobooks: RBdigital

Formerly known as OneClickDigital, RBdigital is a collection of e-audiobooks from Recorded Books, which BHPL patrons can listen to on an iPod/MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, or computer. There are currently more than 250 titles, with more being added. To get started, you must create an account on the RBdigital website or app.

Powered by 3M’s cloudLibrary, this is a state-wide consortium that offers both e-books and e-audiobooks to member libraries (not compatible with all devices). Access the collection with your BHPL card number.


Digital music (downloads and streaming): Freegal

Digital music: Freegal

Freegal (rhymes with legal) is a “free and legal” way of providing you with digital music for your iPod, MP3 player, computer or other device. Each BHPL patron is able to download and keep five tracks of music a week, as well as stream three hours a day from a selection of over 8,000,000 song files.
