Carol Rivers is exhibiting a stamp collection that belonged to her mother-in-law Lydia Rivers, in the Blue Hill Public Library’s Children’s Larchwood Case, through the end of June. Lydia lived in Northeast Harbor, where there was no mail delivery, so she made daily trips to the post office frequently buying full sheets as they became available. Carol decided to treat them as small works of art, framing them with colored mat boards.  On display are sheets of stamps of dinosaurs, a scene from the Sonoran Desert, Looney Tunes, Prehistoric animals, and more!
