May 19, 2021 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Join Teen Services Librarian Kendall Chapman on Wednesday, May 19 at 4pm as she features a young adult book. Kendall will highlight themes within the book, discuss positives and negatives and most importantly why it's worth reading. This week's selection, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, is recently released title Girl on the Line by Faith Gardner. This title takes a deep look in the struggles of bipolar disorder, suicide and finding support, community and ways to move forward.
Every other Wednesday, a new book talk video will be posted to the library's YouTube channel and videos will be available to view after the premiere. If you have any questions you can contact Kendall at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the library at 374-5515.Location: Online
