Choices That Matter Should Covid Strike

The Blue Hill Public Library and Healthy Peninsula will co-sponsor a “Choices That Matter” workshop on Thursday, July 9 at 9:30 AM, led by local retired clinical psychologist Barbara Sinclair and Anne Donovan-Fortier, LCSW at Northern Light Healthcare & Hospice.

Are you and your loved ones prepared for the healthcare decisions you may be charged with making if Covid-19 strikes? In this interactive online workshop, participants can work on planning their Advance Care Directives, including a new directive specific to the novel coronavirus, and ask any questions they may have. This workshop will be held via Zoom. Advance registration is required by using the library’s online calendar, or by calling the library at 374-5515. Registered participants will receive the link to join the workshop from Janet Lewis of Healthy Peninsula.

The Choices That Matter campaign is a project aimed at encouraging people in all our communities to consider and implement end-of-life planning and discuss their wishes with their family and healthcare providers. This program is free of charge and anyone is welcome to register.
