During the month of August, the Blue Hill Library will hold its annual fundraising art exhibit featuring a variety of artwork by many talented local artists. The exhibit is titled Reflections and is curated by Marcia Stremlau and Jennifer Mitchell-Nevin. About the theme of the exhibit, Mitchell-Nevin says, “In light of what we are experiencing in this pandemic, we are grateful to express Joy with a focus on nature as a way to combat the toll that Covid has taken on colleagues and family members.” Works will be for sale in the library’s Britton Gallery and Howard Room, and can be viewed during library hours as well as online. Proceeds of the sales are shared between the artists and the library. If you are interested in purchasing a work, please contact us at (207) 374-5515 x10 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
