Technology Workshop: Internet Safety

AmeriCorps Digital Literacy Instructor Chris Suggs will offer a beginning internet safety workshop at the Blue Hill Public Library on Tuesday, July 16th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. This workshop will cover what to look out for to avoid getting scammed, impersonated, or otherwise having personal and financial information stolen. This will be a slow-paced, beginner-level workshop for anyone who wants to learn more about using the internet.

This event is free of charge and open to anyone, but space is limited so registration is required, and can be done using the library’s web calendar at www.bhpl.net or by calling the library at 374-5515. Please use the “notes” field to indicate if you would like to use a computer provided by the library for this workshop, or if you will be bringing your own device.
