Special Storytime: Snowy Owls

Downeast Audubon education coordinator Julianne Taylor will read a story about snowy owls at the Blue Hill Public Library in a special edition of the library’s weekly Pre-School Storytime, on Tuesday, December 12th, at 10:30 AM. What is a snowy owl? Where do they live? Do we see them in Maine? We will explore these questions through reading “A Snowy Owl Story”, by Jada Fitch and Melissa Kim. After our story we will create our own snowy owls using pinecones, felt, and cotton balls.

This event is sponsored by the library and Downeast Audubon, a chapter of Maine Audubon. There is no charge, and everyone is welcome. For more information, call Libby at 374-5515.
