Independent journalist Greg Palast has been investigating stolen elections in the U.S. since the Florida vote-counting crisis in 2000. His latest film exposé, “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy,” details corrupt and illegal practices in the 2016 presidential election: “who stole it, how they did it, and what they’re planning next.” Palast has produced an updated, post-election edition. It will be screened at 7 p.m., Friday, January 26, at Blue Hill Public Library.

Palast is known for complex undercover fact-finding, spanning five continents, from the Arctic to the Amazon, from Caracas to California, using the skills he learned over two decades as a top sleuth of corporate fraud. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called him “one of my heroes” and “the last investigative reporter in America.””

The film showing is sponsored by Peninsula Peace & Justice. It is free, and refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome. More info: 374-2357
