Massachusetts architect Terry Cline will present a program, “Manipulating Spaces: What We Do to Them and What They Do to Us,” at the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, January 20th at 10:00 AM.

The presentation is geared towards home owners, apartment dwellers, businesses, school teachers, or healing centers. It will highlight no- to low-cost simple design strategies that can have a profound impact on desired function and behavior using primarily existing spaces and furnishings. Participants are asked to bring in photos or sketches of a difficult room they’d like to share in a group critique.

As Founder of DwellRight, which offers consulting for home, office and residential green design, Terry Cline integrates principles from architectural and interior design, behavioral psychology, neurology, and immunology. He offers presentations nationwide and has been interviewed by Dwell and Natural Home Magazines, Public Broadcasting Network, and The Green Talk Radio Network.

This program is sponsored by the library, and is free and open to everyone. For more information call the library at 374-5515.
