Program Location: George Stevens Academy
Girls Who Code was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in technology. Tech jobs are among the fastest growing in the country, yet girls are being left behind.
When girls learn to code, they become change agents in their communities. Whether it’s a game to illustrate the experience of an undocumented immigrant or a website to provide free college prep, our girls create technology that makes the world a better place.
Facilitator Michelle Keyo will lead the 6 month course, which is made possible by a grant from Cornerstones of Science. This program is open to girls ages 12-18.
